The following event was reported to the Plano Police Department

DATE: 2/14/14 (Friday) TIME: 9:55 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:
The witness was in his residence in the 2400 block of Travis Drive and heard some unusual noises out back. Upon investigation the witness observed a thin black male, approximately 16-17 years old and a short white male juvenile running northbound behind his residence.

The witness jumped into his vehicle and attempted to locate the suspects. The witness spotted the suspects about 300 feet north of the last location. The witness confronted the suspects and the suspects fled on foot. One of the suspects dropped a bag.

The witness recovered the bag and met the police at the witness’ residence to report the incident. The investigation determined that items contained in the bag were taken from a burglary of motor vehicle that occurred in the 4200 block of Donnington Drive, which was less than a half mile from the witness’ residence.

Investigating officers were able to contact the vehicle burglary victim and confirm that the items were taken from his vehicle. The recovered items were returned to the owner.

Responding officer was not able to locate the suspects. This investigation is on-going.

SUSPECT INFORMATION: Suspect #1: Black male, 16-17 years old, thin build, about 5’11”; Suspect #2: White male, short

VEHICLE INFORMATION: On foot.
